Yellow in Hinduism is the color of Lord Vishnu, the color of purity, victory, chastity and surprisingly sensuality too, since in spring in India unmarried girls wear yellow clothes. Some tribes believe that the color yellow has powers to keep evil spirits away.

Yellow is absolutely invigorating. It stimulates our nerves, glands, and brain, making us more alert and energized. Yellow boosts our memory, and it encourages communication. It’s a color that promotes activity and interaction.

तमिल भाषा दक्षिण भारत में बोली जाने वाली सबसे पुरानी द्रविड़ भाषाओं में से एक है। इसमें अरन्कु (नारंगी के लिए) शब्द का भी उपयोग किया गया है।

हिंदू और बौद्ध भिक्षु नारंगी वस्त्र पहनते हैं, और हिंदू धर्म में, नारंगी आग और इसलिए पवित्रता का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है; आग में अशुद्धियाँ जल जाती हैं। डेलावेयर विश्वविद्यालय में अंग्रेजी और भौतिक संस्कृति अध्ययन के प्रोफेसर जूलियन येट्स के अनुसार, नारंगी शब्द स्थानीय भाषा में देर से आया।

आज हम जानते हैं कि केसरिया या नारंगी रंग लाल और पीले रंग का संयोजन है और इसलिए यह प्रेम और ज्ञान का मिलन है।

जिस देवता में वीरता, पुरुषत्व, दृढ़ संकल्प, कठिन परिस्थितियों से निपटने की क्षमता, स्थिर दिमाग और चरित्र की गहराई के गुण हैं, उन्हें नीले रंग के रूप में दर्शाया गया है। भगवान राम और कृष्ण ने अपना जीवन मानवता की रक्षा और बुराई को नष्ट करने में बिताया, इसलिए उनका रंग नीला है।

नीला रंग आमतौर पर शांति और विश्वास से जुड़ा होता है, जो आकाश और पानी जैसे प्रकृति के शांत तत्वों से प्रेरित होता है। यह ठंडक या दूरी का अहसास भी पैदा कर सकता है।

नीला रंग जल की तरह चंचल, गतिशील एवं जीवनदायी शक्ति प्रदान करता है। फेंगशुई कहता है कि अगर आपके आस-पास नीले रंग का प्रयोग किया जाए तो यह मनोकामनाओं की पूर्ति में सहायक होता है।

The deity who has the qualities of bravery, masculinity, determination, ability to deal with difficult situations, stable mind and depth of character is depicted as blue. Lord Rama and Krishna spent their lives protecting humanity and destroying evil, hence their color is blue.

Blue is commonly linked to calmness and trust, inspired by nature's serene elements like the sky and water. It can also evoke a sense of coolness or distance.

Blue color, like water, provides playful, dynamic and life-giving power. Feng Shui says that if blue color is used around you then it helps in fulfillment of wishes.
